“I thought I’d have some major epiphany about how I want to live my life - and though I’m still processing the experience of the Camino because it felt so big, I’m not sure I had that. I do know that even with slight injury and illness that all pilgrims face at some point or another, I felt so happy for all 34 days of our walking.
I think I have more empathy for everyone that crosses my path now - like on the Camino, you have no idea what people are going through, but we’re all going through something, and the path can only get easier when you walk it together. The Camino felt like home.”
